布达佩斯交响乐团

赞誉度极高的布达佩斯交响乐团(简称BPSO),属于匈牙利广播旗下,创建于1943年。录制古典音乐唱片是该团极为重要的使命职责之一,其中歌剧、协奏曲以及电影音乐的唱片录制受到匈牙利本土以及国际上的好评和热爱。

布达佩斯交响乐团的演出曲目从巴洛克时期至当代音乐都有涉猎。乐手多毕业于著名的李斯特音乐学院,精湛的专业技术使得他们沉浸于各时期音乐作品的演出和录制。作为广播旗下的一个专业乐团除了持有金牌的艺术质量,同时在室内乐和独奏艺术家领域也是非常出色的。

BioBudapest Symphony Orchestra

The acclaimed orchestra internationally knownas Budapest Symphony Orchestra (BPSO) was founded in 1943 as Symphony Orchestraof the Hungarian Radio on Ernst von Dohnányi’s initiative. Apart from its usualorchestral work, it makes CD recordings of classical music, accompaniments ofopera and concerto productions as well as of demanding light and film musicmainly for foreign but also for Hungarian customers.

The repertoire of the Budapest SymphonyOrchestra ranges from the Baroque to contemporary music. Its members feel athome in all music styles as they have graduated from the world famous Liszt Academyof Music (now Liszt Ferenc University of Music). As a professional radioorchestra they appear regularly not only in symphony orchestra productions butalso in chamber or even solo productions as well.

Through its frequent broadcasts and itsrecordings the BPSO has become widely known, and its tours have taken it to thecountries of Eastern and Western Europe as well as to the United States ofAmerica and Canada. The orchestra has performed at major venues like CarnegieHall New York, London Barbican or Vienna Konzerthaus. BPSO has appeared withthe greatest conductors asOtto Klemperer, Carlo Zecchi, Leopold Stokowski, JohnBarbirolli, Claudio Abbado, Charles Münch, Georg Solti, Gennady Rozhdestvensky;Sir Charles Mackerasor Sir Neville Marriner. Chief conductors of the BPSOincluded Adam Fischer, Tamás Vásáry, János Ferencsik or Gregory Vajda.

Resulting from theirexperiences gathered on stage, they can meet in the course of studio work thehighest demands regarding timbre and fidelity to style. Owing to theirdecade-long connections they make their recordings in excellently equippedstudios with the best conductors, sound engineers and music producers. The recordings of the orchestra are published,inter alia, by Naxos, Gramy and Hungaroton.

Hailed as a “young titan” by theMontreal Gazette after conducting the Montreal Symphony in Bartók’sBluebeard’sCastle and Schoenberg’s Erwartung, Gregory Vajda has fast become one of themost sought-after conductors on the international scene. Reflecting his growingpresence and demand in North America, he has been appointed in 2011 the sixthmusic director of the Huntsville Symphony. After concluding his 3 yeartenure as Principal Conductor he was named Principal Guest Conductor of theHungarian Radio Symphony in 2014. Mr. Vajda is Music Director of the PortlandFestival Symphony and the Artistic Director of the International Armel OperaFestival.

In addition to his duties withthese organizations, upcoming guest-conducting engagements include the HamburgState Opera, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, the Hackney Empire Theater in Londonand the Budapest Opera.
In addition to conducting, Vajda is also a gifted composer and clarinetist.
His new composition “Alice Études” will be premiered in San Francisco by theFarallon Quintet in January 2017.

During the 2015-16 season Vajdaconducted the Danubia Symphony, the Hungarian State Opera, the PannonPhilharmonic, the Szeged Symphony. He was invited back to perform at theLaunaudiére Festival in Canada and the summer series of the Portland FestivalSymphony among others.
In 2014/15 Vajda was engaged by the Hamilton Philharmonic, the Omaha Symphonyand Symphony Silicon Valley, the Rochester Philharmonic; in 2013/14 by thePhoenix Symphony, Symphony Silicon Valley, Calgary Philharmonic and theColumbus Symphony. In 2012/13 he led the Edmonton Symphony, Kalamazoo Symphonyand Santa Barbara Symphony. In Hungary he conducted the Pannon Philharmonic ina semi-staged version of Ligeti’s opera Le Grand Macabre, and lead twoperformances of Lohengrin as part of the Budapest Wagner Days with theHungarian National Opera Orchestra. In July he concluded his Artistic Directorand Conductor position with Music in the Mountains, CA – a position held since2009.

The 2011/12 season combined hereturned to the Seattle Symphony and Edmonton Symphony with his debut leadingthe Toledo Symphony, while highlights of 2010/11 included a subscription serieswith the Oregon Symphony featuring the US premiere of his work “Duevoe,” areturn to Atlanta Opera conducting La boheme, and re-engagements to theBaltimore Symphony, Edmonton Symphony, Symphony Silicon Valley and Round TopFestival. Debuts with the Louisiana Philharmonic and Huntsville Symphonyrounded out the season. Vajda’s 2009/10 season began with a stint at theHungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, followed by his first return to theHungarian State Opera since emigrating to the US. In his adopted country he ledsubscription concerts with the Oregon Symphony, debuts with the Seattle, GrandRapids and Memphis symphonies, and returned to the San Antonio Symphony andSymphony Silicon Valley.

Season 2008/09 marked theconductor’s introduction to the Salzburg Festival as assistant conductor toPeter Eötvös. He conducted the final performance of Bartok’sBluebeard’s Castlewith the Vienna Philharmonic and Vienna State Opera Chorus, before returning tothe Atlanta Opera to lead La Cenerentola. On the orchestra stage, he conductedthe Toronto, Edmonton, San Antonio, and Silicon Valley symphonies. He alsohelped inaugurate the widely talked-about EMPAC at the Rensselaer PolytechnicInstitute (NY) with a performance of Grabstein für Stephan by György Kurtag.While assistant conductor with the Milwaukee Symphony, a position herelinquished in 2005, Gregory Vajda led several regional tours and hadopportunities to conduct the Canadian Brass, Maureen McGovern, the KingSingers,as well as the Milwaukee Symphony in a yearlyclassical subscription series. Inpast seasons, Vajda appeared with St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the MilwaukeeChamber Orchestra, the Calgary Philharmonic, the Winnipeg, Louisville,Charlotte and Omaha symphonies, the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa,Ensemble Intercontemporain, led the Klangforum Vienna in performances of PéterEötvös’ As I Crossed a Bridge of Dreams and Three Sisters (as part of theWiener Festwochen), gave the premiere of his chamber opera The Giantbaby at theNew Theatre in Budapest, and the premiere of Hungarian composer György Ránki’sopera King Pomade’s New Clothes at the Hungarian State Opera. He has alsoconducted at the festivals of Avignon and Strassbourg, at the Woodstock MozartFestival, Grant Park Festival and the Mostly Mozart Festival in Lincoln Center.

Composition highlights: Mr. Vajdaconducted his own concert music for the silent film The Crowd at the Auditoriumof the Louvre in 2001, with American pianist Jay Gottlieb. His “Comic Opera ofthe Modern South’ entitled ‘Georgia Bottoms’ was premiered with the HuntsvilleSymphony as part of its 60th Anniversary Season in 2015. His orchestralcompositions ‘Duevoe’ and ‘Clarinet Symphony’ were recorded with the HungarianRadio Symphony Orchestra under his baton. Mr. Vajda’s music is published byrecording labels BMC (Budapest Music Center) and Hungaroton Classic.

He was honored with the Gundel ArtPrize in 2001, the Zoltán Kodály State Scholarship in 2000, and the AnnieFischer State Scholarship in 1999.
Born in Budapest the son of renowned soprano Veronika Kincses, Gregory Vajdastudied conducting at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music under Professor ErvinLukács. He was also a conducting and composition pupil of well-known composer andconductor, Peter Eötvös.

Ruben Gazarian  指挥

作为德国符腾堡州海尔布隆室内乐团德首席指挥,Ruben Gazarian成功地凭借扩大乐团规模和采用浪漫与现代相结合的演奏方式来拓宽乐团演奏的曲目类型。

Ruben Gazarian曾在埃里温国立音乐学院中著名的鲍罗丁四重奏担任第一小提琴。

1993年至1998年, Ruben Gazarian一直担任西撒克荪交响乐团的第一小提琴手,并自1999年一月任首席。他也是此乐团最年轻的首席指挥。

2002年他在法兰克福的世界指挥大赛中获一等奖,同年9月,他成为德国符腾堡州海尔布隆室内乐团德首席指挥和艺术总监。同时他也担任多个乐团的客席指挥,其中包括西南广播交响乐团、里昂国家交响乐团、斯特拉斯堡爱乐乐团、斯图加特爱乐乐团、苏黎世室内乐团等等。

Zohar Lerner 首席

佐哈·勒纳出生于以色列,2009年起担任德国符腾堡州海尔布隆室内乐团的首席小提琴。 17岁时,佐哈·勒纳作为独奏家的首场音乐会便是在指挥大师祖宾·梅塔的职棒下,与以色列爱乐乐团合作演出

作为一名出色的乐团小提琴手,佐哈·勒纳与指挥大师巴伦博伊姆创建的西东合集管弦乐团合作精密。 2005年至2006年间,作为柏林爱乐乐团的客席乐手,佐哈·勒纳有幸在包括指挥大师阿巴多、杨松斯、哈农库特、蒂勒曼、海丁克等的职棒下演出。

佐哈·勒纳目前所使用的小提琴为1745年的Nicolaus Gagliano。
